On 23 April 2015 OCU organized its first Global Talk session in which students who may be considering to study or work abroad have a chance to have a chat with foreign scholars doing research at OCU. The lunch event was held on the 10^th floor of the Media Center, offering a relaxed setting for everyone.

For this first meeting, we invited Dr. Jan Rozsypal, Special Researcher at the OCU Graduate School of Science and Professor Timothy Amos, from Australia, who is doing joint research with the OCU Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences.?The two scholars both did a presentation in English about the culture and characteristics of their home countries and answered questions from students. The 30-minutes session flew by in a friendly atmosphere with the participants listening, chatting and having their lunch. It almost felt like a mini-study abroad experience.
