?The logo shows OCU leaping and expanding to the future.
Comments by the logo’s designer Mr. Haruo Hamaguchi
Thank you for adopting my design as the OCU 140th anniversary logo.
I feel very honored to know that this was the result of ballots placed by many people. I spent my 20s and 30s in Osaka. At the time, I lived near OCU and participated in several events. I was surprised by the large-scale events, like the university’s festivals, and how incomparable they were to my local university. Those memories are nostalgic to me. I felt a bond with OCU.
I hope from the bottom of my heart that my logo will help OCU in its future developments.
